Newborn care & family wellbeing program
A Totter specialized in newborns is with your baby 20 hours a week. You choose how those hours are spread across your week, and you stay at the center of your baby's day.
Bilingual English-Spanish or Spanish-speaking, you choose. You meet your Totter on a video call before you start, and you get up to 3 profile changes at no extra cost.
We understand
You want your baby in the best hands, and you want to be there too, without carrying every logistics decision alone. Here are the questions parents ask us most.
Before we start, we build your Family Profile: sleep, feeds, the diaper-change method, and everything you already know works. Your Totter reads it in full before day one and works from there.
Your Totter follows your breastfeeding or bottle routines and sterilizes bottles and utensils, so the rhythm you built doesn't break.
Yes. You choose a bilingual English-Spanish Totter and communicate in your language. The Family Profile, the daily WhatsApp updates and the written reports come in English too.
There is a written emergency protocol: your baby's safety first, then calling emergency services, then calling you. The maneuvers match your baby's age and your authorization is signed from the start.
You talk directly to your Totter on WhatsApp day to day, and you can request written follow-up reports every month.
You have three options, and we tell you right away which one applies: we send a substitute Totter, we make up the hours on another day, or we refund them. If we can’t find a substitute in time, the hours are always made up or refunded. You never pay for a day your Totter didn’t come.
Who will care for your baby
Every baby has one assigned Totter, and she matches one of these profiles. Every one of them has at least 3 years of experience with infants. Tell us which one appeals to you most; on the video call we decide together which is best for your baby.
If you have a preference, we listen to it. Depending on the state you live in, some backgrounds are less common than others, so we talk it through openly and tell you honestly what's available for your family. What doesn't change is the standard: every Totter in this program is trained, verified and backed by our team, and every one of them gives your baby attentive, loving, professional care.
Your week
Some families want their Totter there a little every day. Others prefer fewer, longer days. You choose the shape here and we build the schedule around it.
1. Choose your rhythm
2. Choose your days
3. Choose when the day starts
Your ideal week

Your guarantees
We don't promise perfection: ten years in this work taught us the unexpected happens. What we do give you are clear protocols and processes to prevent it, and to respond fast when something does happen, so the impact on your family is as small as possible.
You meet her through a video introduction and can request a Zoom call to talk in depth and clear up every question.
If it isn't the right fit, you get up to 2 more introductions before starting, and once the service has begun, up to 3 profile changes at no extra cost.
Case-based interviews, document and certification checks, an evaluation of honesty, reliability, attitude, integrity and job stability, and a background check.
Your Totter gives advance notice whenever she can. From there you have three options: a substitute Totter, the hours made up on another day, or a refund. If a substitute isn’t possible, you get the make-up or the refund.
A contract signed by both parties with your schedule, rates, emergency protocol, conduct boundaries and confidentiality.
If your Totter doesn't have this training yet, we certify her officially within her first 2 months with you, in a course covering newborns and children.
Who's behind this
“Every child deserves care that nourishes, holds and loves.”
Montse Armesto
Founder of Totters
Educator and educational neuropsychologist. She has spent ten years accompanying international families with three priorities: safety, care that is loving and emotionally present for children, and close, solution-focused attention for the family.
Your investment
Both plans include 20 hours of care a week, in the rhythm you choose, with the same specialized Totter. They are charged to your credit card on a recurring basis every 4 weeks. One month equals 4 weeks.
To get started
Paid once, at the beginning. It reserves your Totter and activates the whole process.
Prices in US dollars. The one-time Opening Fee of USD 300 is paid at the start. If you need a tax invoice, prices are plus VAT.
If you need a pause
On the 24-week plan you can freeze your program at no cost. Here's how your freeze days work.
You freeze those days. They aren't charged and your Totter doesn't come.
You freeze the days you need. They aren't charged and your Totter doesn't come.
You freeze those too. You don't pay for them.
You get up to 2 full weeks of care to freeze during your 24-week plan, which is 40 hours.
The days you freeze aren't charged and your Totter doesn't come.
Whenever you want, you resume and the program picks up from where you paused it.
You can take them all at once, the 2 weeks together, or spread them out at different moments.
That week comes out of your 2 weeks of freeze days. You still have a full week left for later.
Outside your freeze days, days you don't use, for any reason, are not made up or refunded. That's how your Totter and your baby keep their rhythm.
Freeze days apply to the 24-week program only. On the 12-week plan there are no freeze days: days that aren't used are not made up and not refunded.
How to start
We meet, answer your questions and personalize your baby's care.
Together we define the ideal Totter profile, her language, and the weekly rhythm that fits your family.

By video introduction, before day one. Then we begin.
If your Totter is already part of the team, the match takes 2 to 3 business days. If your family needs specialized recruiting, 5 to 15 business days.

Frequently asked
We want you to feel protected at every step. If your question isn't here, write to us and we'll answer it.
Yes. If you choose a bilingual English-Spanish Totter, your day-to-day communication, your Family Profile and your monthly written reports are in English. The Totters support team also works with you in English.
If you prefer a Spanish-speaking Totter, the program is identical. Only the language of daily communication changes, and it comes at a lower monthly rate.
Totters was founded by Montse Armesto, an educator and educational neuropsychologist who designs early-childhood learning experiences. She has spent ten years caring for international families with three priorities: safety, loving and emotionally present care for children, and close, solution-focused attention for the family.
In this program, your team is your specialized Totter plus the Totters support team behind her.
Real experience with infants, verified training, and a temperament that fits your family. Every candidate goes through case-based interviews, document and certification checks, an evaluation of honesty, reliability, attitude, integrity and job stability, and a background check.
Present parents who want to be involved in their baby's day and want a professional alongside them, not instead of them. Families who value written protocols, clear communication and consistency, and who want a loving, professional and backed-up presence for their baby.
Each one matches one of four profiles: nursing assistant, registered nurse, educator or teaching assistant with infant-room experience, or a caregiver with more than 15 years with infants. On your video call we define together which profile is best for your baby.
Yes. If your Totter doesn't have this certification yet, we certify her officially within her first 2 months with you, in a course that covers newborns and children.
It includes your baby's daily care: feeding, sterilization, diapering and hygiene, safe sleep, attentive observation, early stimulation, the bath routine, washing and organizing her clothes and belongings, basic tidying of her spaces, and support in building healthy routines.
We focus on your baby: the service does not include deep cleaning or general housecleaning.
Yes. You meet her through a video introduction and can request a Zoom call to talk in depth. If it isn't the right fit, you get up to 2 more introductions before starting, and up to 3 profile changes at no cost once the service has begun.
Yes. The program runs on a 12-week (3-month) or 24-week (6-month) commitment. The 24-week plan has the better rate and includes freeze days.
With a recurring charge to your credit card every 4 weeks: 3 charges on the 12-week plan, 6 charges on the 24-week plan. The one-time Opening Fee of USD 300 is paid at the start, before the program begins.
You talk directly with your Totter on WhatsApp for the day to day, and you can request written follow-up reports every month.
Tell us on the video call and we'll review it case by case: travel involves different logistics, schedules and agreements, and everything is set in writing before the trip.
Your Totter gives advance notice whenever she can. Then we look for a substitute Totter from our team. If a substitute isn’t possible, and sometimes it isn’t, we make up the hours on a day that works for you, or we refund them. You never pay for a day your Totter didn’t come.
We cover the days in the meantime and activate the matching process for a new profile, at no additional cost to you. You never have to fire anyone or manage the transition.
On the 24-week plan you have up to 2 full weeks of care, 40 hours in total, to freeze. The days you freeze aren't charged and your Totter doesn't come. You can take them all at once or spread them out.
Freeze days apply to the 24-week program only. The 12-week plan does not include them, and days that aren't used are not made up or refunded.
Outside your freeze days, days you don't use, for any reason, are not made up or refunded. That's how your Totter and your baby keep their rhythm.
Book the video call and let’s shape your baby’s week together: the rhythm, the profile, the language. No commitment until everything is in writing and you’ve met her.
